Another woman has come forward, claiming that the 76-year-old director drugged an brutally raped her, back in 1974.
No reprise for Roman Polanski, as another woman has come forward, claiming that the 76-year-old director drugged an brutally raped her.
Edith Vogelhut, former model and Glamour magazine editor, alleged that in 1974, she willingly went with Polanski to the actor Jack Nicholson's house, and planned on having sex with the director there. But she was shocked when Polanski apparently placed handcuffs on her and abused her repeatedly.
The alleged victim, who was only 21 years old at the time, remained silent for all those years, due to the humiliation. She says that she was motivated to finally come forward by another alleged victim, 'The Golden Child' actress Charlotte Lewis. Lewis claimed in May that Polanski molested her when she was only 16 years old.
Polanski was convicted in the U.S. of raping a 13-year-old girl back in 1977. He fled the country before sentencing, and U.S. authorities recently failed in an attempt to extradite him from Switzerland.
Vogelhut is planning to write a book all about it.
