Last Tuesday the nominations for the Oscars were revealed. ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Hurt Locker’ are the favourites of the Oscars and were nominated nine times. Producer Jon Landau believes ‘Avatar’ should have had more nominations in the mainstream categories such as: ‘Best ‘Actress in a Leading Role’, ‘Best Writing (Original Screenplay)’, ‘Best Makeup’ and ‘Best Script’. Jon Landau is very disappointed.
