Apparently, beautiful actress Penelope Cruz will never lie about her age because she isn't ashamed of aging. The 36-year-old wants to grow old gracefully, just like movie icons Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn. The 'Vicky Christina Barcelona' star will not play the  Hollywood game of knocking a few years off her birth date.

But this wasn't the only thing the Oscar winner recently told a British magazine. Cruz has  strong opinions about trashy teenage magazines, insisting that editors force unhealthy body images on young and impressionable readers. Even though she herself is known for her slender frame, the 'Nine' actress' believes that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Every girl should toss out magazines that claim otherwise.

According to the stunning brunette there is a standard being created where only thin is acceptable. The influence of these magazines is horrific and should stop, said Penelope!
